As long as he didn’t flash that smile at the wrong time and get molested by nuns, we would be safe. — Anita Blake

Happy New Year Everyone.

Filed under: General, Holidays, Icons, Layouts, Plugins, World —129 words by Steph @ 10:58 pm BBC Wikipedia

I thought I’d get a word in before the year is over. I’ve added the layout from Fairytale under skins, but it seems to be having a personality complex, I’m not sure why. Everybody Else’s Girl seems to have died as well, I think my switcher plugin has mental problems.

There are 37 Van Helsing icons that I’ve added and there might be more icons later, I’m working on a batch of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron ones, I hope everyone had a good holiday and has a Happy New Year :-D

I’ll try to be around more, sorry about that.

Eostre

Filed under: General, Icons, Religion —161 words by Steph @ 1:17 am BBC Wikipedia

An update so soon! oh my!

Anyways, I’ve got thirty icons for the Vernal(spring)(also called the Eostre or Ostara) Equinox. If you don’t know what that is, weres an explaination:

Most modern sources describe Eostre’s festival as a celebration of the Spring Equinox. Bede, however, never stated this. Eostremonath is a lunar month, and as it starts with the new moon, can begin on a variety of possible dates. Since the Spring Equinox falls on a single date in March, Eostremonath cannot be associated directly with the Spring Equinox.

The association of Eostre with the Spring Equinox is important in neopagan belief as part of the Wheel of the Year. Neopagan celebrations of the Equinoxes involve goddesses from diverse cultures.

Basically its the spring celebration for us pagans :)

Have a good night!
